The EK61 pendant Ø24 cm from Carl Hansen & Søn is made of mouth-blown opal glass with handmade details in oak. The fixture was designed by Espen Klint in 1961 but is only now being produced in glass, instead of plastic which was the original idea, evoking a timeless interpretation of traditional Chinese lanterns. The EK61 lamp's softly pleated shape and muted light create a pleasant atmosphere, making the lamp ideal above a dining table, in a reading nook, or as a beautiful detail in a dark corner.
