The EK61 pendant Ø16 cm from Carl Hansen & Søn is crafted from mouth-blown opal glass with handmade details in oak. The fixture was designed by Espen Klint in 1961 but is only now being produced in glass, instead of plastic which was the original idea, and evokes a timeless interpretation of traditional Chinese lanterns. The EK61 lamp's softly pleated form and subdued light create a pleasant atmosphere, making the lamp ideal over a dining table, in a reading nook, or as a beautiful detail in a dark corner.
