Spotlights as ceiling lighting for comfortable ambient light

At Lightshop, we offer a variety of colors and models of recessed spotlights for bathrooms. Using spotlights as ceiling lighting instead of traditional ceiling lamps can have its advantages. Spotlights in bathrooms can function both as task lighting for selected areas and provide good and comfortable ambient light. Our bathroom spotlights are available in three basic types; 12V, 230V, and LED.

Recessed spotlights for bathrooms with the right IP rating

It's important that the recessed spotlights meet the requirements for sealing class. You cannot use just any lamp in a bathroom; it must have a high enough IP rating. The necessary IP rating also depends on where in the bathroom the lamp will be placed. Generally, a higher IP rating means a tighter and safer spotlight. IP65 - Directly above the shower and bathtub. IP44 - At least 0.6 meters from the shower head. IP44 - At least 0.6 meters from the shower head. IP21 - At least 0.6 meters outside the bath or shower area. Remember, it is always the electrician who is responsible for the installation. Therefore, consult your electrician about which IP rating you need.
