Since its founding in 1999, Normann Copenhagen has established itself as a leading force in the modern Scandinavian design scene, with a particular focus on innovative lighting. Normann Copenhagen's journey in lighting took off when founders Jan Andersen and Poul Madsen decided to produce Simon Karkov's Norm 69, an iconic lamp designed in 1969. This lamp became one of their greatest successes and marked the beginning of a series of groundbreaking lighting designs.

The company collaborates with talented designers such as Simon Legald, Nicholai Wiig Hansen, and Jonas Wagell, and also has its own design studio where creative designers continuously explore new ideas.
